3 Weeks Old and Moving to Greensboro!

Update: Women's Hospital was too full for the girls to be transferred today. While the doctors made the rounds this morning, I was there to listen in and they decided to take Mason's feeding tube out since she is almost taking all of her feedings by mouth and we moved her out of the isolette to a bassinet. If she can take all feedings by mouth and hold her temp up for the next 24 hours she can go home instead of being transferred. Hopefully she is able to do that and we have a tentative plan to get her discharged on Friday. The plan is still to have Finley go to Women's when a spot opens up.

Much to the nurses and their Chapel Hill Grandparent's dismay, today we found out that the girls are headed to the Women's Hospital in Greensboro sometime tomorrow, Wed 12/3. We are so excited to have them one step closer to home but at the same time sad to leave those who have taken such good care of them over the last 3 weeks.

Both girls have changed so much in just a week. Mason is 4lbs and Finley is 2lbs 9 oz. They are learning to take their feedings from a bottle and are doing well at that. I spent most of the day with them today taking pictures, feeding and changing, and giving Mason a bath. They are such good, easy going babies. I hope that lasts!
